One week from today, we'll be flying out. This next week will be busy packing and seeing people for the last time for a while. This weekend we are going to some peace workshops in St. Catherine's. Should be interesting.
This past week we finally got the OHIP coverage worked out for when we return. We made four trips to Service Ontario centres, altogether, to work things out. Sigh. At least it's done now.
We also made a last trip to the AGO to see the Rubens exhibit one more time. It's pretty spectacular. One of the perks of living in Toronto has been the handiness of going to places like the AGO and the Aga Khan Museum. Living in Woodstock it's not so easy to visit places like that.
Some people have been saying they would like to support us in various ways while we are gone. The primary way you can support us is, of course, by praying for us and thinking of us. But it's not a bad idea to remember that our supporting body is the Presbyterian Church of Canada, and specifically Presbyterians Sharing. Here is a link in case you are interested.
Thanks for your interest.
Next week's blog will not be coming out till we are actually in Malawi! As I said, we fly out on Friday (Nov. 22) and arrive on Sunday (Nov. 24), so sometime after that when I get my brain in gear, I'll be writing my first post from Malawi.
